DYC and the Environment Please no not throw any kind of trash in the ocean as it may harm the environment and marine life. It will be of great importance to the local population and the region if you are able to leave the places you visited , both islands and mainland, exactly the same way you found them. We ask that all the trash be properly stored aboard in the furnished trash bags and upon returning to our base it will be removed by our staff. Please use the fresh water aboard sparingly to avoid wastage. There are very few fill up spots in the region and the majority of them are in hard to reach places. Try using biodegradable detergents, disinfectant, soap and shampoo. Do not remove anything from the ocean, leave everything as you found so other may benefit from the same beautiful sights you saw. Caro(a) amigo(a) Pelo 11º ano consecutivo, a revista Náutica, está divulgando a “Campanha do Peixinho”, de educação e preservação de águas e mares, cujo símbolo foi criado pelo cartunista Ziraldo. Nosso objetivo é conscientizar crianças e adultos sobre a importância de ter águas limpas e saudáveis.
